Excel at Kindergarten
Our director and lead teacher, Ms. Jing, holds a MS degree in Early Childhood Education from a highly ranked university in the US and possesses extensive experience in preschool education at several reputable daycare centers. Supported by truly-credentialed staff and maintaining a teacher-student ratio of 1:2 for ages 0 - 2 and 1:6 for ages 2 - 5, we offer a comprehensive preschool and PreK curriculum that prioritises quality education rather than basic childcare. Our program prepares students thoroughly for Kindergarten, focusing on key areas such as social and emotional development, language, mathematics, science, art, music, and critical thinking.
Reggio-Inspired Emergent Learning
Our educational philosophy prioritizes child-centred learning. Educators systematically observe students, document their developmental progress, and utilize these insights to inform instructional strategies and provide targeted resources and support. This methodology promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, encouraging learners to engage in group activities and benefit from peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.
Quality Bilingual Curriculum
English is integrated into daily learning to facilitate a smooth transition to Kindergarten. Concurrently, comprehensive Chinese reading and instructional materials are offered, supported by Ms. Jing's considerable expertise in bilingual education. The content and proportion of Mandarin instruction are tailored according to the needs and interests of students and their families.
Clean and Healthy Classroom
We know how stressful it is for working parents when your child gets sick. Unlike larger daycare centers with over 20 children per class, tables are cleaned and sanitized after each use every day. Students are supervised while washing their hands several times throughout the day, including before and after meals and recess. Over the past few months, there have been few illness cases among students in the classroom. Visitors are welcome to observe the cleanliness during tours.
Organic as Much as Possible
We offer daily lunches and snacks that are healthy, nutritious, and free from nuts. Consistent with the standards we maintain for our own children, we prioritize organic ingredients sourced from local markets whenever feasible, including dairy products, fruits, vegetables, and meat. Where organic options are available, they are selected as our preferred choice.
